Richard Mille RM 11-03 Le Mans Classic

Since the creation of the Le Mans Classic in 2002, Richard Mille has been its official partner. Last weekend, the brand launched a brand new watch specially designed for competitions, the sporty RM 11-03 LMC.

In accordance with established traditions, Richard Mille presented a new watch at the 2018 Le Mans Classic held from July 6th to 8th. The RM 11-03 Le Mans classic timepiece is dedicated to the endurance race. It is inspired by the history of the car and the green sports accent of the legendary British racing car that is exactly the same as the classic Le Mans style.

This numbered limited edition is the first RM 11-03 with a case made of white ceramic and carbon TPT®. This material has a constant color, second only to diamond, and is one of the hardest materials in the world.

The RM 11-03 is full of motor sports details, from the crown design inspired by racing rims and tire treads to the ribbed buttons inspired by the grooves on the pedals made of the same material.

Calibre RMAC3 is made of grade 5 titanium. The glazed beveled edge marked with the middle time around the color counter of the flyback chronograph and the seconds window gives a deep impression. The upper bridge is made of satin-brushed grade 5 titanium, which is in sharp contrast with the movement. It is also made of titanium, but with a PVD coating, which further enhances this sense of volume.

The 24-hour flyback chronograph highlights the number “16”, which represents the start time of the game.

Breakthrough Le Mans

Richard Mille is known for his breakthrough inventions and designs for his innovative watch series. They break through the boundaries of traditional watches and use the latest technology and materials, similar to the production of racing cars. The brand once again led the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the all-female team participating in their Richard Mille racing team. who sells the best replica watches

Le Mans 24 is arguably the greatest and most difficult endurance racing competition in the world, held at the Lassette circuit in France. Due to the limitations of covid19, the 2020 version was postponed and moved from June to the weekend of September 19th and 20th.

For Richard Mille, linking the brand to such an iconic event was an obvious step. He is passionate about racing and is a staunch supporter of the Le Mans Classic, and the company has participated in every race since the first race in 2002. Since 2008, every event has launched a special limited edition watch.

The brand’s love for all technical things, especially for cars and aviation, is reflected in all their timepieces. Every component used in production has a purpose, not just a visual appeal. The engineering technology of Richard Mille watches means that every screw, spring, lever, etc. work in perfect harmony.

They also undergo rigorous real-time testing to produce the highest standards of safety, robustness and accuracy. It’s like the high-speed car found in the Le Mans race.

When Richard Mille decided to create his own brand, he wanted to bring a new modern approach to the watchmaking industry. The RM 001 tourbillon adopts an ergonomic tonneau-shaped case design with a unique torque screw, making the brand immediately rank the top of the luxury watch market.

This revolutionary method is also reflected in the brand’s 2020 Le Mans 24 Hours. Richard Mille, Chairman of the FIA Endurance Committee, and French racing champion Michèle Mouton have been committed to promoting women at the highest level of motorsport for many years.

In this year’s race, three female drivers of the Richard Mille Racing Team participated in the Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) class, becoming the first all-female team. They drove a red ORECA 07 racing car (No. 50) exclusively for private teams. Technical support was provided by the Signatech team of Philippe Sinaut, who was the champion of the Le Mans endurance race in the past 24 hours.

Richard Mille Racing Team will compete throughout the 2020-2021 championship. The three drivers on the hot seat of the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year are:

Tatiana Calderon

Colombian national Tatiana Calderón (Tatiana Calderón) is currently the highest-ranked woman in a single-seater racing car. She dreams of joining Formula One. She is a test driver for the Alfa Romeo-Sauber team.

Betzker Wieser

The Dutch national was selected as a substitute for the injured Catherine Legge. She previously participated in the FIA Formula E Championship.

Sophia Frosch
The 19-year-old German won the Spurs in the Formula 3 race. She just finished her rookie season in the fiercely competitive F3 Championship.

The team finished in an excellent ninth place. They are not the only beneficiaries of Richard Mille’s creative and forward-looking approach. He is a member of the board of directors of the Paris Brain Institute and appears on the team’s racing car. The funds raised will be used for research projects in this world-leading research center.

From designing the first ladies’ wristwatch RM 007 automatic watch in 2005 to participating in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, Richard Mille is a brand that challenges conventions and is ready to innovate-as long as the products are of the highest quality.
